科幻片《阿凡达》是一部从生态视角讲述的有关人类未来的故事,旨在展示"唯科技"论下人类的可能性命运。影片中地球人与纳威人的矛盾冲突、毁灭性战争的爆发、地球人被驱逐的真正原因在于:人类技术理性的先天残疾,以及由此导致的人类行为的暴虐。崇尚"万物有灵"的纳威人,他们的生存方式以及与生境的和谐关系,暗示着人类从看似"进步"的生存状态走向真正成熟的生存境界。

Avatar as a science-fiction movie is about the story of human future narrated from the ecological view, aiming at revealing how human world would evolve directed by the scientism. The imbalance and imperfect of technical rationality caused the earthmen’s tyrannical behaviors to Na’vi,which triggered the devastating war between earthmen and Na’vi and ended up with earthmen expelled. But the living styles and attitudes towards habitats of Na’vi with the world view of Animism symbolize a possible direction of human improvement.
