在学科分类日益完善、学术研究趋于专业化的今天,如何以一种超越学科分类的视野来对被研究的对象作宏观上的、整体性的把握,实际上对于研究者来说,是一个挑战。而黄大同先生的《中国古代文化与〈梦溪笔谈〉律论》则向我们呈现了全科视野研究的一个范本。该书以沈括《梦溪笔谈》中的律论条目为基础,讨论的却不仅仅是传统乐律学本身的问题,实际上是从中国古代哲学传统与中国古典乐律学理论的相互阐发、说明的角度来阐释,从而将乐律学理论置于更为广阔的中国古典哲学的背景之中。这样的胸襟和视野,无论对于中国古代哲学或者古代乐律学的研究来说,都是非常难得的。全书资料考辨精审,论述气象恢宏,实为相关研究的典范之作。而其对于中国古代哲学与中国传统乐律学之间关系的阐释,尤其值得学界重视。
Nowadays when disciplines are increasingly classified and academic studies specialized, how to go beyond the horizon of single subjects and study the object in a macroscopic and comprehensive.way have actually become a challenge to researchers. However, Ancient Chinese Culture and Temperament Theories in Dream Brook Sketchbook written by Mr. Huang Datong has presented a perfect model for com- prehensive research. Based on the items about temperament recorded in Dream Brook Sketchbook written by Shen Kuo, Mr. Huang' s book not only discusses temperament issues but also interprets the mutual - elucidating relationship between ancient Chinese philosophical tradition and temperament theories. By doing this, the book places temperament theories in a much broader context of the classical Chinese philosophy. Whether for the research on ancient Chinese philosophy or studies on ancient temperament, the author' s broad mind and horizon are very rare. As the discussions in the book are careful and views breathtaking, the book builds a model for relevant studies. Furthermore, the interpretation of the relationship between ancient Chinese philosophy and traditional temperament in the book are particularly worthy of attention.
