"国学"是当代中国的一个热门话题,然而很多人对"国学"的理解存在误区。现代学术相对于"国学"来说是进步,而非退步;现代学术可能存在一些误读,但这并不是现代学术的必然结果,"国学"研究当然也必定存在诸多误读;"国学"的气度应该宏阔,不应该只研究"中国的",而应该放眼世界;"国学"热的真正原因是,在经济发展之后我们复兴和弘扬中华传统文化精神的愿望,但中华传统文化精神的实质是她的开放性和包容性,而绝不是其偏狭性。最后,我们呼吁,应该理性地思考"国学"。

Chinese Classics is a hot topic in today’s China.However,there are extreme statements and many misunderstandings about Chinese Classics.It should be asserted that the modern disciplines are progressive,not backward.There may be some mistakes and misinterpretations in the researches of the modern disciplines,but those are not the result of the modern disciplines.As we can see,there are also many mistakes in the study of Chinese Classics.The study of Chinese Classics should have a world-wide perspective,not to be confined within what is in China.The true motive in the hot Chinese Classics is to revive the Chinese traditional culture and to share it with the world.But the true essences of the Chinese traditional culture are its openness and magnanimity.The last point asserted is that thinking about Chinese Classics calls for rationalism.
