历史解释的模式有三种:情节化解释、形式论证式解释以及意识形态蕴涵式解释。三者之间存在着同质性的亲和关系,也存在着不和谐模式的辩证的张力。这为历史叙述、历史的阐释提供了无穷变化的可能性。在怀特这里,传统的"唯实"的历史也呈现出复数多重的叙述。

According to Hayden White,there are three modes for historical interpretations： emplotment,argument and ideology,among which there must exist homological affinity and also an unharmonious dialectical tension.This provides a possibility for countless modes of historical narration and interpretation.So,the conventional positive history shows plural and multiple narrations.
