摘要
针对井下光照度低,监控图像对比度低,平滑区域较多这一特点,为了提高煤矿井下监控图像的分形压缩编码的效率,采用了基于平滑块处理的分形编码算法。在进行分形编码时,预先设定图像D块及R块的方差阈值,将方差小于其阈值的所有D块剔除在码本之外,对于方差小于其阈值的所有R块不进行搜索匹配,而是直接赋以均值。实验研究结果表明:基于平滑块处理的分形编码算法比基本分形编码算法更有效。该算法的实现提高了分形编码的效率,有助于解决煤矿井下监控图像的低比特率传输问题。
In order to improve the efficiency of fractal compression encoding of underground mine surveillance images,a fractal compression encoding algorithm based on average blocks was proposed in this study to account for the characteristics of low contrast in underground mine surveillance images due to its low illumination and more average blocks.A threshold of variance was assigned for range blocks and domain blocks in advance.The domain blocks with variance below the threshold were eliminated from the domain pool.The range blocks with variance below the threshold were then no longer searched,and they were denoted directly by its average gray value.The experiments on the underground mine surveillance images show that the proposed algorithm is valid.The proposed algorithm can improve the efficiency of fractal compression encoding and be useful for solving the problem of surveillance images transmission with low bit rate.
