摘要
文章以漫议的形式,就音乐翻译专业现存的一些问题提出了作者的看法与建议,涉及音乐翻译的学科归属与性质,谁来翻译,音乐翻译人才所需要的从业素质与培养,翻译的内容,以及与音乐学的关系等。作者认为音乐翻译应该强调其语言学的性质,即加强对语言文字的驾驭能力,提高人才培养的语言起点;并提出翻译也是一种文化与思维/语境的转换技艺;同时就音乐翻译人员稀缺的现状,提出首先要翻译"经典之经典"和"前言之前沿",并认为翻译"前沿"对于创造中国音乐学学术本土化和中国经验具有重要的参考价值。
This essay is a personal view or proposal concerning the status quo of the translation of music literature in China, involving the discipline' s attribution and nature, the suitable person for the task , his/her qualities and cultivation, the priorities for translation, and its relationships with musicology. The writer places emphasis on the linguistic nature of translation, i. e. the need to strengthen the translator' s command of languages and to raise the starting level of the initiate' s ability of languages. In the author' s viewpoint, translation is also a poetics of cultural and thinking/context transformation. Facing the status quo of the scarce population of practitioners, the article sug- gests the priorities for translation be a few "canon of the canons" and "frontier of the frontiers". Actually, the latter is an especially important reference to the establishment of an academic localization or a Chinese experience in Chinese musicology.
