降低MH-Ni电池中储氢合金使用量的新方法

摘要 提出了一种降低金属氢化物-镍(MH-Ni)电池中AB5合金使用量的新方法,即采用CoOOH包覆的氢氧化镍,从而完全消除金属氢化物(MH)电极中的放电储备容量。充放电测试结果表明,消除放电储备容量有利于电池的0.2 C充电、大电流放电和循环性能,尤其是在MH电极的剩余容量明显降低后。因此,在保持电池性能的同时AB5合金的使用量得以下降,电池成本降低。 In this paper,cobalt oxyhydroxide coated nickel hydroxide was used in nickel-metal-hydride(Ni-MH) batteries in order to reduce the consumption of AB5 alloy.The discharge reserve was completely removed from the metal hydride electrodes.The results of charge-discharge tests showed that the elimination of the discharge reserve had benefit to charge at 0.2 C rate,high current discharge and cycle life of Ni-MH batteries,especially when the surplus capacity of the MH electrodes was lowered.Thus,the consumption of AB5 alloy could be reduced with the maintenance of the batteries' properties.
