政府形象反映政府的执政能力,影响政府的威信、凝聚力、感召力。政府形象传播是政府借助媒体等传播中介,为塑造良好的形象而与其相关公众进行的信息传播活动。各级政府都在积极探索形象传播的新思路、新方法,不断了解其传播对象、服务对象,避免主观和盲目灌输的宣传。政府形象传播的构成要素包括政府形象传播的主体、政府形象传播的客体、政府形象传播的中介。政府形象传播应着眼于构建公众服务型政府,做好政府信息公开工作以及加强政府公关等。
