Application of Case-Study Method to Business English Teaching

案例教学法具有一定的仿真性,注重师生的双向交流和能力的培养,有利于调动学生的学习积极性。在商务英语教学中,使用案例教学法是适应商务英语教学特殊要求的有效尝试,不仅有助于提高学生的语言能力和商务交际技能,而且有助于提高他们解决实际问题的能力。基于近年商务英语案例教学实践,对案例教学法的重要性、实施环节和应注意的相关问题进行了探索,以期培养高素质的复合型商务人才,满足社会需求。

Possessing certain simulation,case-study method focuses on the cultivation of two-sided communication as well as capacity between the teachers and students,which are helpful to stimulate learning initiative of students.In the process of Business English teaching,it is an effective attempt to adapt case teaching to the specific requirements of Business English.Not only is case teaching conductive to improving the language capacity and business communication skills of students,but it also raises their capability of solving practical problems.Based on the recent teaching practice,this thesis explores the significance,implementation as well as some related issues in regard to case teaching,in the expectation of cultivating compound business talents with high quality.
