The non-point source pollution in Pearl River Delta is still serious.Understanding about its characteristics was the basis for effective control.Non-point source pollution in Pearl River Delta is divided into urban and agricultural non-point source pollution.The emission characteristics of the two major categories of non-point source pollution are analyzed.Great control efforts in the agricultural non-point source pollution should be made,and adequate attention in the control of urban non-point source pollution should also be given.
