摘要
早期电影翻译中存在着有趣的东方情调化的翻译倾向与改写。这种翻译倾向主要存在于西方电影公司购买我国电影后进行翻译的文本之中。电影《天伦》的翻译与改写就充满着东方情调化的倾向,好莱坞译者表面上刻意营造东方情调,突出中国文化的异质特征,而从深层上来看,却将翻译的文本进行了改写,使之更加符合目标社会的主流意识形态、心理预期与审美需求。
The recentralization of the text existed in the rendition or translation of early Chinese films.The translating or rendering method is mainly adopted by Western Movie studios or institutions after their purchase of Chinese movies.The recentralization finds itself clearly in the translation and rewriting ofSong of China,one of the early Chinese movies.The translator from Hollywood strived to keep the exotic characteristics and flavor of China and Chinese culture on the surface level.However,on the deeper level,the movie has been rewritten to meet the needs of ideology,psychological expectation and aesthetics of the target culture and society.
