Optimal Weighting of Scoring Indexes in Oral English Tests: An AHP Approach

英语口语测试评分因其主观性强,难度极大。构建包括科学的指标权重在内的评分指标体系,是英语口语测评工作顺利开展和提高测评结果信度的关键。本文在构建英语口语测试评分指标体系的基础上,引入层次分析法探求各评分指标的最佳权重,解决了以往凭经验确定指标权重导致测评结果信度偏低的问题,为正确、可靠地确定英语口语测试评分指标权重提供了一种更为科学、有效的方法。

It is very difficult to evaluate oral English tests because of its subjectivity.The establishment of scoring index system,including scientific weighting of indexes,is the key to evaluating oral English scoring successfully and improving the reliability of the assessment results.Based on the establishment of scoring index system in oral English tests,this paper uses Analytical Hierarchy Process to calculate optimal weighting of scoring indexes,trying to solve the problem of the unauthentic assessment results caused by index weighting determined by experience in the past and provide a scientific and efficient approach to determine scoring index weighting in oral English tests correctly and reliably.
