Alzheimer’s disease(AD) is a common neurodegenerative diseaase in the elderly. The pathogenesis of AD has not been clear now,but most of scholars think the deposition of β-amyloid activated the neuroglial cells, which result in the chronic inflammatory reactivity in AD brain.Microglial cells are one sort of the most important inflammatory cells.Recent research has implicated the effect of Toll-like receptors in the activation of microglia. This paper reviewed the research progress of the relationship between Toll-like receptors and microglia in AD.
