"Revolution" in Political Sociology:Review on Revolution Research in Western Countries

革命在西方学术界一直是存在争议的讨论议题,从其概念、原因解释及结果评价等内容简述了革命的既有研究观点。由于影响革命生成的变量因素多元性、革命结果的复杂性,以致于任何革命研究理论试图全面对革命予以解释都会受到非难。而正因此,在西方,关于革命的研究形成了多元的理论解释和多样的研究方法,大大丰富了我们的学术视野。

In western academic world,＂Revolution＂ has been a controversial issue.This article discusses some existing views about its connotation,reasons for forming and evaluation on the results of revolution.It is impossible and always under attack for any theory on revolution to explain revolution totally owing to variable factors and the complexity of revolution results.Therefore,there are so many theories and research methods on revolution,which greatly enriches our academic vision.
