A Summarizing and Planning of the Natural Landscape Fcature for Scenic Spots and Historical Sites in the Hu-Kou Cataract of the Yellow River

本文从风景审美角度,总结、提炼并具体论述该风景名胜区内黄土高原、黄河、峡谷、瀑布等四大景观要素及其雄阔壮美的景观特色;挖掘其丰富的黄河文化及深广的哲理内涵,进而提出该风景名胜区的性质、规划原则及近期开发对策.

This paper attempts,from the aesthetic viewpoint of landscaping,to discover,extract, and discuss the four natural scenic elements of the spot,namely,the loess plateau,the Yellow River,its canyon,and its cataract,and their composite result of the grandiose spatial environmental unity,rich with Yellow River valley culture and profound philosophical significance. From this outset,the paper attempts to outline the nature,keynote idea of our lat.iscape planning of the spot,and our principles for its recent development.
