摘要
"马"是中华民族精神的象征。在"马"及含"马"的词语中,含有丰富的文化内涵,这些文化内涵是通过隐喻认知的方式来实现的。通过隐喻认知,"马"实现了从动物本义向其他词义的扩展和转移,而这些隐喻认知中蕴含着丰富的文化内涵,"马"的文化内涵正是通过隐喻的方式表现出来的,这也证明了语言是文化的载体,语言和文化的密切联系和不可分割。
＂Ma＂（horse） is regarded as the symbol of the Chinese spirits.The Chinese character ＂Ma＂ or the words that contain this character embody a profound cultural connotation which can be visualized through metaphor cognition.Metaphor cognition has enlarged and transferred the original meaning of this word and revealed the cultural connotation of ＂Ma＂.It also proves that language is the carrier of culture and they are closely-correlated and inseparable.
