The problem concerning the randomness and safety of the IPv6 address stands out on the campus network for IPv6 upgrades.In order to solve this problem,this article discusses the features of IPv4 address management solution in process firstly,and the usage of this solution on IPv6 is the next to discuss.To be specific,every users＇ VLAN ID and Campus Card ID in the IPv4 User Management System are used to build an IPv6 address,and the every user＇s host MAC address is used to bind his IPv6 address in the DHCPv6 server configuration file,so that the user can only get access to the Internet2 via fixed IPv6 address.Therefore,the goal of managing IPv4/IPv6 users by this User Management System can be achieved.The launch of this solution will enhance the IPv6 network address management,which lays a foundation for the popularization of IPv6 network application on campus network.
