Wet Air Oxidation for the Treatment of Petrochemical Wastewater

湿式空气氧化是一种有效去除有毒有害工业污染的处理技术，石油化工精炼过程中产生的高浓度含硫含酚废水是具有严重危害性的工业污染，必须彻底去除才能排放。报道该技术在石油化工废水处理中的应用，并对该工艺过程的机理、重点及展望略作评述。

Wet air oxidation(WAO) was a kind of effective process for the removal of toxic and hazardous industrial waste. High strength sulfur content wastewater from the petrochemical refinery was hazardous to people, it should be removed or converted sufficiently prior to final discharge. In this paper, the wet air oxidation process in the petrochemical refinery were reported, the mechanism, characterisitics, and usage in the future were also discussed.
