绿色食品是继可持续发展战略提出后蓬勃兴起的新兴产业 ,发展绿色食品是实现区域可持续发展的有效途径。昔日“北大荒”如今已成国家重要的商品粮基地 ,生态环境条件良好 ,绿色资源丰富 ,社会经济条件已具一定规模。以虎林市为例 ,分析了其发展绿色食品的诸方面条件 ,为整个北大荒发展绿色食品提供了依据。
