摘要
语言和文化的辩证关系历来是外语教师和教育者所关注的一个重要问题。为了解英语文化课的教学效果,本研究对山东某大学英语专业三年级76名同学进行了问卷调查,研究结果表明:英语文化课教学有助于提高学习者的英语语言技巧和文化意识,端正学习者对本族语和母语社会的态度,增强学习者的英语交际能力,培养学习者的未来教师职业感。
The dialectical relation between language and culture has always been a concern of foreign language teachers and educators.To find out the effects of English cultural teaching,the paper conducts a questionnaire among 76 third-year English majors in a university of Shandong.The results show that attending the English cultural classes and learning about culture may help improve their English language skills and cultural awareness,change their attitudes towards native language and society,raise their English communicative competence,and contribute to their sense of prospective teaching profession.
