高等学校的办学与地方经济、文化的发展联系日益密切。在学科专业的设置、教学科研等方面呈现出鲜明的地方文化特点。与此相适应,高校图书馆在文献资源建设上要以地方文化为中心形成自己的馆藏特色。

The contact between institutions of universities and local economic and cultural development is increasingly close.It presents distinctive local cultural characteristics on the setting of disciplines and teaching research etc.Correspondingly,university library must form their own characteristics centering on local culture in the construction of literature resources.
