论中国自由文学的先天不足

Chinese Literary Congenital Deficiency of Freedom

自由是文学的一条基本属性。但在中国,文学的自由属性被遮蔽了,这是中国文学本身的缺陷。究其原因,一是我们始终没有突破"文以载道"的传统思想,各种形式的"道"在不同的时期主宰着文学,文学总是沦为"道"的附属物;二是中国缺乏尊重个人价值土壤,集体主义剥夺了作家个人表达的自由;三是"五四"文学先驱们陷入了对自由的种种误解,很少有人自觉地为文学本身争自由。这一切导致的直接后果就是:中国自由文学先天不足。

Freedom is a basic attribute of literature,but freedom attributes of Chinese literature are concealed.This is the defect of Chinese literature itself.First,we have never broken through the traditional ideas of ＂ literature as a vehicle to convey the Tao ＂.In different periods,all kinds of ＂Tao＂ have dominated literature and embodied literature as its subsidiary.Second,it is lack of the soil of respecting personal value in China,and collectivism deprives writers＇ freedom of personal expression.Third,it is the literary pioneers of the May Fourth Movement who misunderstood freedom,few people consciously struggled for the freedom of literature itself.Direct result of all is： the innate deficiencies of Chinese Free Literature.
