A Directing Technique for the SPSM Fiber

本文以蝶形光纤为例,介绍用腐蚀法确定单偏振单模光纤(SPSM光纤)端面折射率椭圆的定向技术;SPSM光纤端面定向的重要性与可能性;定向用的照明光路和标刻法。

A directing technique is described to define the refractive index ellipse of the end face for SPSM fiber, particularly, for Bow-Tie fiber, by etching method. It includes the importance and the possibility of directing end face,optical path of illumination for directing as well as marking method.
