Life in the Ivory Tower: Lu Xun's Teaching Experience

20世纪20年代,鲁迅先生先后在北京、厦门、广州等地的高校任教。在京期间,鲁迅先生对教学尽职尽责,为学生仗义执言而险遭缧绁之灾。迫于经济环境、家庭环境的恶化,鲁迅先生离京南下。在厦门大学,鲁迅先生因与顾颉刚、林文庆之间的矛盾激化而再次选择出走,另谋它就。在广州中山大学,鲁迅先生亲身经历了动荡时局与新一轮的人事冲突。最终,鲁迅先生放弃高校教师职业,辗转沪上,成为专职作家,完成了自我社会角色的重大转变。

In the 1920s,Lu Xun worked as a university teacher in Beijing,xiamen and guangzhou.In Beijing,Lu Xun＇s teaching attitude was conscientious.Meanwhile,he spoke out on a matter of justice without the fear of political persecution.Then,he left Beijing under the pressure both of incoming embarrassment and family conflict.In xiamen university,Lu Xun encountered personal contradiction against Gu Jiegang and Lin Wen qing that he chose leaving once again.In guangzhou,Lu Xun experienced the volatile political and a new-round personal contradiction.Eventually,he completed his social role changement by stoped existing and started a new living of professional writer in Shanghai.
