Some Important Issues about the Ralationship Between Natural Resources and Economic Growth

本文在回顾与评述自然资源与经济增长关系理论演进的基础上,对自然资源作用于经济增长效应的几个重要问题进行了讨论和分析,在肯定自然资源始终是人类赖以生存和发展的依存条件与基础的前提下,提出自然资源并不是一国长期经济增长的必要条件,尽管世界已经进入资源高价时代,资源诅咒的效应并未消失等观点,并回答了为什么自然资源对有些国家送去的是"福音"以及人类是否能摆脱"资源诅咒"这样的问题。文章的一个基本结论是,从长期经济增长看,技术进步总是比丰富的自然资源重要得多。

On the basis of review and comment the theoretical evolution of natural resources and economic growth,several important issues about the effects that natural resources act on economic resources were discussed and analyzed.Natural resources have always been the condition and foundation for human survival,but they are not a necessary condition for long-term economic growth,although the world has entered the era of high prices of resources and the effect of resource curse doesn＇t disappear.The article answers why nature resources have sent Gospel to some counties and whether human beings can get rid of resource curse.The basic conclusion is that technical progress is more important than rich natural resources from long-term economics growth.
