The restrictions that affected the site selection of municipal solid waste landfill were varied and complicated,inclusive of natural geography,geological factors and transportation and environmental protection,in which,the geological factors were of key importance.The author depicted in details the favorable conditions and disadvantageous conditions on the selection of solid wastes,discussed the planning,design,construction and the future management of the waste landfill site.
