Based on the practical experience and understanding of the author,the paper analyses the redundant condition of each unit in TDCS and CTC equipment,pointing out their advantages and disadvantages.Logic analysis has been made for redundant concept within the railway signal scope to deepen the reader＇s cognition for redundant application and to overcome the problems and disadvantages of railway signal redundant installations,to make TDCS system and its upgraded CTC system,with network service and computer technology as their carrier,play an important role in railway transportation and improve the reliability and safety of the syslem.
