The Calculation of logarithmic mean temperature difference has a important significance for the design of heat exchanger and the synthesis of optimum heat exchanger network configuration. These proposed approximate calculate equations are discussed, J.J.J.Chen's approximate equation is better than some others equation that pointed out in this paper.
