The problems of the current HTTP and the requirements of the Web application are analyzed in this paper.Then the architecture model of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol of Next Generation (HTTP NG) is given, and the function of its each layer is researched.The purpose of HTTP NG is to tackle the current deficiencies in HTTP/1.x so as to meet the growing needs of the web application.
