Influences of sowing time upon yield and main agronomic character of a good quality rape variety “Mianyou 9" was studied.The result showed that sowing time strongly influenced yield,plant height,height of primary branch,length of main shoot,the number of the first effective branches,effective pods per plant,seed weight per plant and 1000-seed weight,and if sowing time is suitably advanced ,the yield of “Mainyou 9" can be notably increased.
