中国有14个岛县、上百个建制海岛和300万平方公里管辖海域,关乎国家核心利益,具有重大的开发价值。跟进当今世界海洋经济发展潮流,长海县域应当积极承担国家使命,面向世界创建具有中国特色的海岛经济新模式———"海洋牧场",为全国建制海岛经济开发建设提供示范基地。

There are 14 island counties,hundreds of formed islands and 3,000,000 km2 sea area under the jurisdiction,which involve the national core interests and have the great development value.Following the development trend of world marine economy,Changhai county should actively undertake the national mission,establish a new model of island economy toward the world with Chinese characteristics——＂Marine Ranching＂,provide demonstration base for the development and construction of national island county.
