基于SOA的光保险丝的研究和设计

摘要 光纤通信作为现代通信的主要传输手段,在现代通信网中起着越来越重要的作用。但是,整个传输网络中没有合适的光元器件使光在功率过载的情况下及时的切断,以实现对光接收器的保护。基于半导体放大器(SOA)具有光信息检测和光开关的这两个特性,结合单片机技术,设计出一种"光保险丝",这种光保险丝能自动实现对光功率的判断,达到在光功率过载时对光接收机的保护。 In this paper,Optical fiber communications are playing an increasingly important role in modern communication networks.But there are no appropriate optical components in the whole transmission network which can protect the optical receivers at cut-off time in case of power overload.This article is based on optical information detection and switching characteristic of SOA,an optic fuse is designed in combination with single chip technology.When the optical power overloads,it can protect optical receiver by automatically detecting the optical power.
