Balanced Analysis of Lack of Pricing Power in China's International Rare-earth Trade

尽管我国是世界上最大的稀土生产国和供应国,但与国际有限需求而又相对集中的"寡头"市场相比,我国国内供给极度分散的过度竞争市场,其稀土定价权缺失的主因在供给方。应了解我国国际稀土定价权缺失的深层次原因,进而从国家政策引导和企业行为两方面来提高我国稀土国际定价权的能力。

Although China is the largest rare-earth mine producer and supplier of the world,our local supply market was extremely fragmented and excessive competitive,compared with the international Oligopoly market with limited demand and relative centralization,which became the main reason for lacking of pricing with rare-earth mine in China.So we should analyze the deep rooted reasons for the lack of pricing with rare-earth mine,and then make recommendations and measures from the national policy guidance and corporate behavior to improve the pricing power of rare-earth mine.
