This paper analyzed the use of lexical devices to achieve coherence in literature discourses in terms of lexical repetition,synonym,antonym and lexical chains.Lexical devices are of great importance to enable the unification of the context,to elaborate the theme and to achieve the coherence of the literature discourse thereby.
