语言是文化的载体,能够折射出不同民族不同时期的宗教信仰、社会习俗和思想状态。词汇是语言构成的三大要素之一,从词源学的角度,英语词汇能够展现各种丰富的西方文化。
Aa a carrier and main expressive vehicle of culture,language reflects religious beliefs,customs and thoughts of various nations in different periods.Vocabulary is one of the three essential factors composing language.This paper,in a perspective of etymology,tend to present colorful western culture through large vocabularies.
