摘要
基于MATLAB对车牌自动识别系统中的算法进行研究,详细阐述车牌自动识别过程中的车牌定位、字符分割、字符识别的算法思想及算法实现。通过对一些车牌图像进行测试,获得较高的车牌自动识别准确率,表明算法具有可靠可行性。
The algorithm of license plate automatic recognition system has been researched baaed on MATLAB. Both the algorithm ideas applied in the process of license plate recognition, such as license plate location, characters partition and characters recognition, and the algorithm realization have been described in detail. A number of images of license plate were tested and a high accuracy rate of automatic license plate recognition has been obtained, which indicated the reliability and viability of the algorithm.
