人类步入文明社会,给建筑赋予了举足轻重的现实意义.建筑是一个文明的宣言,也是一个群体的宣言,一开始就带有浓重的政治色彩.意识形态对建筑的影响彻底而有力.在建筑创作中,可以抛弃原有的一切方法论,却无法创造全新的世界观.因此,建筑历史,尤其是启蒙以来的建筑历史,一直在复古与革新之间徘徊.

Human＇s coming into civilized society has given architecture a decisive realistic meaning.Architecture is a declaration of civilization and also a declaration of a group.It has a strong political color from the beginning.Ideology has a thorough and powerful influence on architecture.In architectural design,we can abandon all the original methodologies,but we can not create a completely new weltanschauung.As a result,architectural history,especially after the Enlightenment,has been fluctuating between ancient restoration and innovation.
