"问题与主义"之争是中国共产党成立之前的一次重大论争。在这次论争中,李大钊有力地驳击了胡适的改良主义主张,指明了"问题与主义"的辩证统一关系。这场论争对我国社会主义现代化建设仍具有重要的启示,在现代化建设中我党必须坚持中国特色社会主义理论的正确指导,坚持理论联系实际的正确工作方针,切实解决好我国经济社会发展中与人民群众密切相关的民生问题。

The contention over＂ problems and doctrines＇is an unforgetable event before the establishment of CPC. In this contention, Li Dazhao retorted with sound evidence the reformism proposed by Hu Shi,pointing out clearly the dialectical unity of the issue. Today,it is still of siguificance to our building of socialist modernization in that our Party must take the the- ory of socialism with Chinese characteristics as our guidance,linking theory with practice as the working guidline in order to deal successfully with problems concerning public interest that occur in the development of our economy and society.
