The study proposes a set of college-student-dormitory administrative methods for optimizing the environment in cultivating students＇ moral and ideological health.Developed from the author＇s long-term practice and experiences in the administration and management of student dormitory,these methods include： in-dormitory ideology/moral education,in-dormitory security/vigilance education,and the education for students＇ strict and conscientious observing the dormitory regulations.The principles underlying these methods are ＂heart-felt feeling＂,＂love＂,and ＂discipline＂,through which students feel warm,influenced,encouraged and disciplined.Tested by practice,it is evident that these administrative methods play an important role in ideology education and in the stability of the campus.
