武当山地区申报世界地质公园资源条件分析

Resources Condition Analysis of Declaring World Geological Park in Wudangshan Region

武当山地区地质遗迹和人文史迹资源丰富,生态环境优美。在地质遗迹资源方面,以恢宏大气的变质岩峰丛地貌、世所罕见的青龙山恐龙蛋化石群、郧县学堂梁子早期古人类遗址、汉江武当山段的流水地貌、丹江口水库和绿松石矿床等,具有世界级资源潜力。古老的武当岩群,是南秦岭造山带的重要组成部分,具有重要的科学价值;人文史迹丰富,其中以世界文化遗产——武当山古建筑群闻名于世;生态环境优美,区内有十多处国家、省、市级森林生态类自然保护区和森林公园。按照《世界地质公园网络指南与标准》要求,武当山地区具备申报世界地质公园的资源条件。

Wudangshan geological relics and historical sites are rich in resources,ecological environment is beautiful.Wudang ancient group-complex which is the important part of Nanqinling orogenic belt has important scientific value.The World Cultural Heritage-Ancient Building Complex in Wudang Mountain is famous for rich historical sites.There are more than a dozen of the national,provincial and municipal nature reserve forest ecology and forest park in area.Accordance to the requirements of World Geoparks Network guidelines and standards,Wudangshan region has the qualifications for declaring world geological park.
