A Lai is a particular contemporary writer. What makes him unique in the literary circles is his ethnic identity and the impact of religious thought. In his works, heroic epic of King Gesar has been reproduced. As one of the restatement of the myth,King Gesar is different from other novels,which is caused by a variety of reasons. As a national writer, A Lai highlights the human side of this national hero,and gives prominence to the important role in the rapper of King Gesar＇ s pass-down.
