This study, by the comparison of a self-bulit corpus with reference corpora, explores nominative case personal pronouns features and their collocation in English political news. The results show that in English political news, the using frequency of "I, you, she" is lower, which can be explained by the accurate, rigorous and objective characteristics of political news. "We" and "they" are used broadly in English political news. This is because the news can make better manifestation of its. objectivity and authority in order to avoid the views focusing on one individual. In addition, "we"and"they'are collocated by the modal words "can" and "will" in order to enhance the influence of news towards people. What is more, "we" and "they" co-exist with the verbs "want, believe, think'to express the governmental attitudes as well as people' s proposals.
