妈祖文化的民间艺术特征是其在地方公共艺术中传承和发展的基础。从公共艺术的角度,重新审视妈祖文化,对妈祖文化的特色元素进行提炼和再创造,将其作为设计的视觉语言,运用于莆田地方公共艺术创作,探索出妈祖文化融入公共空间、走向世界的道路。

The folk art characteristics of Mazu culture are the foundation for the development of local public art.From the perspective of public art,we should re-examine,refine and recreate the elements of Mazu culture,which can be used to the public art creation in Putian as the visual language for designing,find out the way to integrate Mazu culture into public environment and its development internationally.
