本科英语专业计算机辅助翻译教学中学习动机与需求调查研究

An Investigation on Learning Motivation and Demands in CAT Teaching for Senior English Majors

摘要 本科英语专业高年级阶段开展计算机辅助翻译教学在全国范围内是一项创举,它不仅拓宽了信息时代英语专业的课程与教学体系,更是探索培养本科应用型翻译人才之路中的大胆尝试。在对河南财经政法大学成功学院外语系已经进行为期八周的计算机辅助翻译教学基础上,对该校"计算机辅助翻译课程实验班"进行了问卷调查分析,结果表明,大部分同学学习该课程的动机主要是为了提高英语翻译水平和通过翻译考试,很多同学还未充分认识到计算机翻译软件知识和计算机辅助翻译理论学习的重要性,这些都为该教学实验的改进指出了方向。 As a pioneering work in China,computer-assisted translation teaching for senior English majors not only widens the English curriculum and instruction system,but also makes a bold attempt to explore the effective way of cultivating applied translators in undergraduates.After eight-month computer-assisted translation teaching in Foreign Languages Department,Chenggong College of Henan University of Finance and Economics,the author makes a questionnaire survey of the students in Computer-assisted Translation Experimental Class,which shows that most of the students take the course to improve their translation abilities and pass the translation tests,whereas the majority of the students ignore the importance of the knowledge of computer translation software and the theory of computer-assisted translation.The study is supposed to provide a direction for the improvement of experimental instruction.
