关于《周颂》的评价及其在《诗经》中的地位

About the Evaluation of Zhou Song and its Position in the Book of Songs

对于《周颂》的评价,古今学者具有截然不同的观点。从汉至清的学者以推崇、赞赏的态度评价《周颂》,同时宣扬《周颂》的功德意识。五四运动以后的学者大都以今人的唯物论思想,站在人民群众的立场看待《周颂》,因而对之采取贬斥的态度,批判它的迷信思想和歌功颂德意识。我们认为,对于《周颂》的评价,我们既要认识到它应有的价值和地位,也要认识到它的局限;对于它的歌功颂德,应该看到它在特定历史时期所起的特定作用,不能一概视之为糟粕。

Scholars of both ancient and modern times holds distinctly different viewpoints about the evaluation of Zhou Song.From Han dynasty to Qing dynasty scholars evaluated it with the appreciating and canonizing attitude and publicized its merits and virtues.After the May 4th Movement scholars mostly viewed it from the mass of people＇s stand with the materialistic thought,thus holding the attitude of criticizing its superstitious ideas and its consciousness of singing the praises.This paper considers that one should take right cognizance of its due value and position as well as its limitations when viewing the evaluation of Zhou Song.It is necessary to see the particular role that Zhou Song played in the specific historical periods and it should not be regarded as dregs without exception.
