英语科技语篇和科普语篇中的词汇语法 被引量:12

摘要 科普语篇架起了科学文献和大众文化之间的桥梁,在当代社会起着重要的作用。语言是科普语篇构建知识的主要手段。由于科普语篇的目的和读者特殊,我们有必要了解科普语篇构建科学知识的机制,观察科普语篇的词汇语法特点。本文从小句模式、名词化和技术性三个方面度探讨英语科普语篇的词汇语法在构建科学知识过程中的特点,从而说明科普语篇与科技语篇的一些主要差别。 As a bridge between science literature and popular culture, popular science text plays an important part in modern society. It employs language as the major tool for the construction of knowledge. Due to its special textual aim and readership, it is necessary to understand how scientific knowledge is constructed and what lexicogrammatieal features there are in popular science text. This paper is an attempt to explore, in terms of clausal patterning, nominalization and technicality, how lexico- grammar constructs scientific knowledge in popular science text and thus to show some of the major differences between science text and popular science text.
