摘要
提出一种考虑波速变化特性的新型直流行波故障测距算法,有效解决了由于采用固定波速造成的某些故障距离下测距误差过大的问题。首先深入分析了故障行波的变波速特性,得出结论:对于合适分辨率的测距装置,行波波速为故障距离的一元函数。基于这一结论深入分析了变化波速对直流行波故障测距的影响机理,并提出了考虑波速变化特性的新型故障测距算法。在EMTDC环境下进行了仿真分析,相关结果证实了所提算法的有效性。
A novel traveling wave fault location algorithm for HVDC transmission lines, in which the variation characteristics of wave speed is considered, is proposed to effectively remedy the defect of high error under a certain fault distance in fault location due to adopting fixed wave speed. Firstly, the characteristics of varying wave speed of fault traveling wave are analyzed in depth and the conclusion is that for the fault location device with appropriate resolution the wave speed is a univariate function of fault distance. Based on this conclusion, the impacting mechanism of varying wave speed on traveling wave fault location for HVDC transmission lines is analyzed in detail, then a novel fault location algorithm, in which the variation characteristics of wave speed is taken into account, is proposed. Simulation of the proposed fault location algorithm is performed in EMTDC environment and the obtained results show that the proposed algorithm is effective.
