摘要 在高等教育中培养学生跨文化交流的能力,是20世纪60-70年代西方发达国家提出的关于培养未来国际化人才的特殊战略。海外学习计划是大学教育从教室走向社会、走向国际的研究项目,也是培养国际化人才的重要手段之一。人类只有通过广泛而有效的交流,才能实现多元文化的"求同存异",达到"和而不同"的理想境界。本文就是通过中国舞蹈海外学习项目的目标、内容、方法和评估等问题的探寻和实践,力图提升学生在多元文化的环境中,学会理解、宽容、欣赏,并最终实现在吸收异文化优长的同时,不断丰富自身文化的能力。 In the 1960s and 1970's,universities in Western countries began providing training in intercultural communication in order to prepare students for international exposure.Study abroad programs were a product of American education reform in the 1960s,which was initiated in part as a response to the acceleration of globalization.They were uniquely designed to join classroom theory with practical application and equip students with skills that are relevant in the global domain.Only through broad and effective intercultural communication can we achieve the ideal of a multi-faceted and harmonious world.This research study investigates the design,implementation and curriculum of the China Dance Study Abroad program to determine whether it achieves its stated purpose of enhancing student ability to understand,appreciate,and apply the skills of intercultural communication for lifelong enrichment.
