The Introduction of National Language Resource Center in America

本文对美国15个国立语言资源中心的地域分布和工作进行了介绍,重点就其在美国外语教育方面所作出的重要努力进行阐释,并反思我国外语教育的现状,提出我国外语教育发展的4点启示:要从国家战略角度重视语言教育;要完善教育立法;要重视外语教育基础工程建设;要开展外语教育的;社会服务。

This paper introduces the geographic distribution and routine work of 15 National Language Resource Centers in America, especially the important efforts on foreign language education. After having a reflection of the situation of the foreign language education in China, the paper puts forward the four suggestions： we should pay more attention to foreign language education from the strategic perspective; we should insist on education legislation; we should persist in the construction of the basic project and the social service system.
