由巴塞尔建筑师Miller & Maranta设计的沃塔(Volta)学校,虽然外部形象如工业建筑般平凡无奇,但内部空间形式却大相径庭。其创造的新奇视觉体验,正得益于墙板结构体系在平面布局上的极大灵活性。建筑空间既可以凭借结构的面作为实体来定义自身,也可以作为概念来表现自己。随着框架式空腹梁结构在墙板结构体系中的创新应用,结构得以解放,这使空间成为了建筑真正的主角,也使建筑师获得了更大的创作自由。

Designed by Miler and Maranta from Basal,School Volta shares a plain style of normal industrial archites from the outside,but creates a fantastic visual experience from inside,owing to the flexible layout of wallboard structural system.Considered as a spatial entity,Architecture space can also be self-expressed as a concept by the plate structures.With the innovative application of vierendeel beam in wallboard structural system.constru ction provides more creative space to architects.
